Saw an old interview with Hubert Selby Jr. (Last Exit to Brooklyn)...commented that he felt that the eyes don't function as receptors of the outside world, but as a projector, a fountain that sends out into the world our inner thoughts, feelings and perceptions...in that way making the world around us what we make it...not a new concept but one I've been back and forth on working on Adam.
